Nobody can look into the future but let me tell you something important. I see you continuing living on your plot Havelterberg, till your new beginning has arrived. That place makes you happy and keeps you alive.

You have established an environment in which you can live your life to the fullest, where you can manage your chronic condition in peace and where you have two beautiful care givers giving you the care you ask for. They even surprise you for your birthday…

You currently live your life with the same attitude, and based on the same principles, as you have adopted while working all over the world… you adapt to whatever life throws at you and as long as your mental state allows it, you will come up with new adaptations to overcome new physical challenges.

Of course, many will always look at you and only see what you can’t do, what you have lost, and how miserable that must be for you. 

My advice to you…? Don’t be angry or disappointed with them. Allow them to see what you are about. How you have adapted to cope with your reality. Be patient with some, as their glass will always be half empty. But don’t allow them to negatively impact your overall wellbeing.
